 Dublin, California, April 23, 2003 --- Zendex is pleased to introduce the ZXE-E/104P, a 10/100Mb Ethernet card for the new ZXE-ST586/104P Single Board Computer (SBC) and other PC/104+ SBCs. For commercial PC/104+ SBCs that lack an Ethernet port, this board provides one Ethernet port with RJ-45 or 0.1" header connector. For commercial PC/104+ SBCs that have an Ethernet port controller but no RJ45 connector, including the Zendex ZXE-ST586/104P, the new device provides two high speed Ethernet ports with RJ-45 and 0.1" header connectors. The ZXE-E/104P supports Linux, DOS, Win 9X, Win NT, Win XP, Win 2000 and QNX operating systems. Linux can be booted over the Internet. Up to three ZXE-E/104P boards can be stacked to provide as many as four Ethernet ports. In addition, the low 500mW power consumption makes this board useful for battery-powered applications. The ZXE-E/104P is priced at $185 in unit quantities, and small quantities are available off-the-shelf.
