Dublin, California, May 23, 2000 --- Zendex Corporation announces availability and support for hard-to-find Multibus I, iSBX and Cimbus boards, including the SBC519A I/O board, SBC-86/05 single board computer and iSBX488 board with IEE488 bus and Direct Memory Access (DMA). The Zendex boards are a form, fit and functional equivalent for these industry standards. The Zendex release coincides with ongoing announcements from RadiSys (Hillsboro, OR) calling for last-time purchases of products classified as "end-of-life" but which are often still needed. Multibus, iSBX and Cimbus boards are standard functional building blocks for telecommunications, data communications, robotics, medical and similar applications. While these building blocks may be based on older processor technology, they are sometimes a more appropriate choice than newer technology with more features and a higher price tag. In addition, Zendex will customize these boards for specific applications.
